Step 1: Visit the official CTET website (www.ctet.nic.in).
Step 2: On the main page, click on “Download CTET Admit Card 2023 (Server 1)” or “Download Central TET Admit Card Link (Server 2).”
Step 3: Enter the following details:
- Application number
- Date of birth (in day-month-year format)
- Security pin
Step 4: Click on the “Download CTET Admit Card Link” tab.

CTET 2022-23 Selection Process
Aspirants appearing for the CTET Exam 2023 should be aware of the CTET Selection Process. To secure a government job in the teaching sector, aspirants must clear the computer-based test (CBT). If they clear the CBT exam, they will be called for document verification, which will be organized by the board.
CTET Eligibility
The CTET Exam 2022-23 will be conducted in two levels. CTET Level-I is for class 1-5 teacher aspirants, and CTET Level-II is for class 6-8 teacher aspirants. The CTET 2022-23 Eligibility Criteria for both levels are given below:
CTET Eligibility Criteria for Level 1 (Classes 1-5)
- Aspirants must have passed senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
- Or, Be appearing in the final year of a two-year elementary education diploma (by whatever name known),
- Or, Have senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and be enrolled in the final year of a two-year diploma in elementary education (under whatever name known) in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations 2002.
- Or, Have senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and be passing or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.E.I.Ed.).
- Or, Have senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and be passing or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Or, Have graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
Note: Aspirants who have obtained the qualification of Bachelor of Education from any NCTE-recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as teachers in Classes 1 to 5, provided that the person appointed as a teacher shall have at least six years of experience in elementary education. A recognized one-month bridge course by NCTE must be completed within two years of such appointment as a primary teacher.
CTET Eligibility for Level 2 (Class 6-8)
- Have graduation and be passing or appearing in the final year of a two-year elementary education diploma (under whatever name it is known).
- Or, Have graduation with at least 50% marks and be passing or appearing in a one-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
- Or, Have graduation with at least 45% marks and be passing or appearing in a 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program in accordance with the NCTE Recognition Norms and Procedures Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- Or, Have senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and be passing or appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
- Or, Have senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and be passing or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Or, Have graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
According to the guidelines issued by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), any aspiring teacher who has completed a B.Ed. program recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). In addition, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated via the NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is currently enrolled in a teacher education course recognized by the NCTE or the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), as specified in the NCTE notification, is also eligible to appear in the TET/CTET. It is important to note that the TET/CTET eligibility criteria may vary depending on the level of the exam and the state or union territory in which the exam is being conducted.
